Our bed is our sanctuary and we love to spend time in there. Most of us, unfortunately, don’t spend enough time in bed, with very few people actually getting eight hours of sleep per night. But if you did, then it would mean that you spend literally a third of your life sleeping. This is why it is so important that you know what you sleep on. If you are on the lookout for a new mattress, therefore, you should consider what is out there right now, how technology has changed, and what sleep sciences have uncovered. This is also why, when Nectar Sleep Mattress reviews the different types of mattresses out there, people tend to pay attention. After all, they are a recognized expert in the field and they know what different features, constructions, and materials mean in terms of sleep quality and comfort.

Nectar Sleep Mattress Reviews Sprung Mattresses

Many mattresses use a spring system within the mattress itself. Usually, more springs also means more support. However, this does also depend on the type of sprung mattress you choose. Options to consider include:

  1. The innerspring mattress, which is fitted with coil springs. These offer some of the best support around. The coils are fitted with a range of different upholsteries, which add to the comfort levels of the mattress itself. If you choose a good quality innerspring mattress, the coils will distribute your weight evenly across the surface of the mattress, increasing support in so doing.
  2. The pocket sprung mattress, which is one of the most luxurious mattresses around. It has light, small springs, each of which is individually wrapped in a fabric pocket. These springs are all fully independent. This means that they conform and adjust individually to the shape of your body, thereby providing you with excellent comfort and complete support. Furthermore, they also stop you from rolling together with your partner due to gravity, which means your sleep will be even more undisturbed.

Other Mattress Types

Sprung mattresses are very common nowadays, but other alternatives do also exist. Those include:

  1. The memory foam mattress, which is becoming increasingly popular. Memory foam responds to the shape of the human body, meaning you will feel as if you melt into the mattress itself. As you sleep, it contours around your body. When you get up, the shape of your body will still be on your bed. One of the great things about memory foam is that it stops stress on the body’s pressure points. It supports the body and the back, thereby avoiding neck and back aches and pains.
  2. The latex mattress, which is highly supportive and durable. However, unlike memory foam, it does not fully conform to the shape of the body. Furthermore, it also recovers far quicker, which does mean it is easier to change position during sleep. They are very comfortable mattresses and particularly suitable for those who need neck and back support.
